"But I believe in you and now I'll show it..."

I don’t know what you’re all doing this Friday night but I would strongly encourage you to hit your favorite local theater and check out Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist. I’m thinking it’ll be a case of the movie not living up to the book as David Levithan and Rachel Cohn wrote a fairly awesome novel a few years back but given the soundtrack and the fact that the ever adorably humble and hilarious Michael Cera plays the lead role, it’ll be worth plunking your money down for the tunes and laughs alone.

It’s no secret I love a great soundtrack and after having this one on repeat for a few days now, I think I can say it may be my favorite of the year. Boasting tracks from some of my VERY favorite groups…Vampire Weekend, Bishop Allen, Shout Out Louds and Band of Horses just to name a few. It’s hard to choose with a mix this great but here are some tracks I love…

Vampire Weekend – “Ottoman”

Bishop Allen – “Middle Management”

Devendra Banhart – “Lover”

Richard Hawley - "Baby You're My Light"

I just be a big dork, but I am so looking forward to this movie. I loved the book and have equally high expectations for the movie. I read a favorable review in Time this morning while waiting on my oil change as well, adding to my excitement.

If you're a dork then I'm a dork because I'm pretty stoked for it. I'm glad to hear that there are some positive reviews floating around out there!
